Defense secretary Ash Carter stated it was a serious threat. He confirmed that the US would shoot downward any missile. Ally of the US, South Korea, its defense ministry spokesman Moon Sang-gyun stated further actions would be taken.

“North Korea just stated that it is in the final stages of developing a nuclear weapon capable of reaching parts of the US. It won’t happen!” tweeted Donald Trump reported by the CNN network.

According to South Korea’s military back in September 5, 2016, North Korea launched 3 ballistic missiles. The missiles went into the sea during midday.

Experts have mentioned and remain with the fact that it signals North Korea testing its abilities. Ability that includes creating and allowing missiles to travel out of the country.

North Korean’s system of missiles are a threat not only to the US but their neighbor countries too. Unfortunately, international sanctions have been unsuccessful to prevent Kim Jong-Un from reinforcing its nuclear program.
