Let’s learn about the challengers! First we will start off with Toad from Marvel Comics.

Toad (Mortimer Toynbee) is a fictional character, a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist/co-writer Jack Kirby, he first appeared in X-Men #4 (March 1964).

He is most often depicted as an enemy of the X-Men, and was originally a weak, hunchbacked mutant, with a superhuman leaping ability. He was Magneto‘s servant in the 1960s line-up of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Mortimer was a mutant outcast until Magneto invited him to join his quest for mutant rights.

As the Toad, Mortimer became an integral piece of Magneto’s Brotherhood and he was right by Magneto’s side during all of the greatest mutant victories, including the final battle in Central Park which led to mutant supremacy. He eventually led his own version of the Brotherhood, which was more involved in petty crime than mutant liberation.

The character has appeared in numerous media adaptations, such as television series, films and video games. Actor Ray Park played a significantly different version of Toad in 2000’s X-Men film, and after the movie, aspects of this Toad have since been implemented into the comic book version.

The Toad’s intellect and physical abilities have gone through some changes over the years. In the character’s inception, he possessed superhuman leg strength and endurance. Toad also has high levels of agility, reflexes, coordination, balance, a superhuman ability to leap great distances. However, over the years, the Toad’s original powers have increased and he has gained additional powers through further mutation, including adhesive saliva and an elongated prehensile tongue.

Toad’s primary mutant ability is a superhuman leaping ability that allows him to leap many times higher and farther than an ordinary human. He possesses some degree of superhuman strength and endurance, primarily concentrated in his lower torso and legs, which grants him his superior leaping abilities.

Now let’s talk about Reptile from Mortal Kombat:

Reptile is a video game character from the Mortal Kombat fighting game franchise created for Midway Games  by Ed Boon and John Tobias. Since then NetherRealm Studios has taken over. NetherRealm Studios is an American video game developer based in Chicago, Illinois, founded in May 2010 to replace Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment‘s WB Games Chicago subsidiary.

Led by video game industry veteran and Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon, the studio is in charge of developing the Mortal Kombat and Injustice series of fighting games.

Reptile debuted in Mortal Kombat as a hidden opponent and appeared in subsequent titles as a playable character.

Reptile is a green garbed, humanoid reptilian creature that embodies the archetype of the unhappy underling. Said to be physically hideous and repulsive, he is renowned for his great stealth and unquestioning loyalty. Unlike many other henchmen, Reptile does not strive for power. He is caught in a delusional state of mind, obsessed with finding the last remaining member of his race, or freeing his homeworld of Zaterra from Outworld‘s grasp. Thus, he always remains loyal to Shao Kahn. While well-meaning and sincere, his obsession is so important to him that it causes him temporary fits of insanity.

Reptile appears to take abilities from several reptilian creatures. His saliva is composed of powerful, corrosive fluids that can easily burn right through steel, much like acid. He also can fire concussive blasts of homing energy. Reptile’s distinguishing trait is his ability to render himself completely invisible.

So who will win this encounter?

Let’s take a look below.

The fight takes place in the Chagres National Park in Panama. There are no rules … except the two can’t use other animals in the forest as weapons. No animals will be harmed … except the two warriors in this fight.

Let Mortal Kombat begin!

Reptile is seen eating dead bugs against a tree. That’s right, the bugs were already dead. Toad, who is sitting on top of a branch on the same tree,  lashes his tongue at Reptile.

Reptile is pissed off Toad interrupted his lunch. Toad starts to laugh as he jumps down from the branch. Reptile pulls out a blade to throw at Toad. The ever so clever Toad catches the blade with his tongue then throws it back at Reptile.

The blade pierces the side of Reptile. He is obviously furious about this. Reptile removes his mask and spits acid at Toad. Sometimes, the jet of acid spit would hinder the opponent for a very short time as the steam from the acid burns away at the opponent’s skin. In this case, Reptile missed Toad. Toad jumps over Reptile, grabs him from behind and flips him into another tree.

Toad turns around to tongue lash Reptile in the face over and over until Reptile reaches into his pocket for some green mist. Reptile throws the green mist into Toad’s face that temporarily blinds him. Reptile takes advantage by jumping over Toad then running toward him to deliver a flying elbow to the back of the neck. This blow by Reptile breaks the neck of Toad thus making Reptile the winner.

Ever since Disney’s hit “Frozen” came to the big screen many moons ago, we asked for this.

Before I start talking about the fight, let’s talk about the competitors:

Elsa

Queen Elsa of Arendelle (also known as the Snow Queen) is the deuteragonist of Disney‘s 2013 animated feature film Frozen. She is the firstborn daughter of former monarchs King Agnarr and Queen Iduna, older sister of Princess Anna, and the contemporary ruler of Arendelle. Her powers over ice and snow ultimately led her to become the Snow Queen at adulthood.

Elsa possesses the magical ability to conjure and manipulate ice and snow. With her abilities, Elsa can manifest and shape various structures made of ice and snow, or cold phenomena from snow flurries to blizzards.

Most of her powers are unleashed via her hands and controlled by her emotions. If she is happy and at peace, she can control them better. When Elsa is angry, afraid or stressed, she will lose control and cause great harm to those around her. Near the end of Frozen, she has complete control over her powers.

In the movie, Elsa was able to turn the entire castle’s ballroom into a winter wonderland. She is capable of creating enchanted snowmen (both large and small), ice structures such as her ice palace, deadly blizzards, and more. She can move ice structures at will. It also appears that her control extends to almost all forms of winter weather, as she was able to create a snow cloud for Olaf, and manipulate wind streams to some degree.

Now let’s talk about the cold one from Mortal Kombat … Sub-Zero.

Kuai Liang (奎良 or 快涼), also known as Sub-Zero (絶対零度, “Absolute zero”)  formerly known as Tundra and the cyborg LK-52O, is a Lin Kuei assassin in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series. He is the younger brother of Bi-Han, who was the original Sub-Zero in the first Mortal Kombat game. The younger Sub-Zero made his debut in Mortal Kombat II.

Both descended from Cryomancers, an Outworld race possessing the ability to generate and control the powers of ice. However, they were born in Earthrealm and only the younger Sub-Zero would discover his heritage. Kuai Liang bears a scar on his right eye which he received between the events of MK3. However, as seen in Deception, the scar has faded away. This may have been caused by the Dragon Medallion‘s power.

Having descended from a race of Outworld inhabitants known as Cryomancers, Sub-Zero has the innate ability to control ice in many forms. Throughout the span of the series, Sub-Zero’s powers have continued to evolve. Aside from flash-freezing opponents, Sub-Zero also has the ability to instantly conjure up an ice statue of himself to act as both a scapegoat and a ‘landmine’ of sorts as any who touch it instantly flash freeze.

Since having taken possession of the Dragon Medallion, the scope of Sub-Zero’s powers and abilities has increased significantly. As a member of the Lin Kuei, Sub-Zero has attained a great degree of skill in many forms of hand-to-hand combat. The Dragon Medallion and his ancestral armor increased and amplified his martial arts and ice-related abilities, as shown in his Deception Arcade ending. Throughout the Mortal Kombat series, Sub-Zero’s abilities have grown more powerful; he can even transform his body into a liquefied state, solid state or transform his body into solid ice at will.

The Fight.

It takes place in a Taiga (or a snow forest) Let’s say a netrual place … Canada.

There can be no shots to the face (Yeah Sub-Zero, I’m looking at you!) and since Sub-Zero is a highly skilled assassin, he is not allowed to use any outside weapons.

Let the fight begin!

Sub-Zero is slowly walking around the forest until he hears a noise. He looks up a tree to see only a white squirrel (Yes, a white squirrel … this is my story).

He creates an ice dagger to throw at the white squirrel to scare it away. This allows Elsa to attack from behind with a huge snowball to the back of Sub-Zero. Sub-Zero turns around only to see that no one is there. Sub-Zero creates four ice walls around him in an attempt to tease Elsa. This is his way to see how strong Elsa can be. Is she able to tear down the four walls?

Elsa creates a snow monster to tear down the walls. She stands off to the side to watch Sub-Zero take on the snow monster. Sub-Zero slides underneath the snow monster hitting him with an ice beam in the process. The ice beam freezes the snow monster.

Sub-zero creates an ice sledgehammer then hits the snow monster to shatter him in pieces. Elsa is not pleased. She jumps in mid air to throw snow blades at Sub-Zero. He blocks the snow blades by creating an ice shield then kicks through the ice shield to take Elsa by surprise. He tackles Elsa to the ground only to let her up. Sub-Zero looks at her then gives the “continue” symbol with his hand.

With all her heart, Elsa creates a strong blizzard to blow Sub-Zero away. Sub-Zero is one step ahead as he creates an ice version of himself to take his place. He jumps into the trees to escape. Elsa has no idea where he is. Elsa slowly looks around to find where he is but right when she spots him … it’s too late.

Sub-Zero stabs Elsa in the heart with an ice dagger then he LET IT GO! (You get what I did there)

So who would win in a fight in the jungle?

Before we talk about the fight, let’s learn about the two female warriors.

Sonya Blade is one of the main heroes of the Mortal Kombat series. She hails from Austin, Texas, and is a second-generation United States Special Forces officer.

Sonya has a long-standing feud with a thug known as Kano, who stands for everything Sonya despises.

In the original Mortal Kombat, Sonya and her team were pursuing Kano, the leader of the Black Dragon international crime organization. After he jumped aboard an old junk in order to escape capture, Sonya and her comrades followed him to a remote island where Shang Tsung‘s Mortal Kombat tournament was underway.

Tsung’s personal guard ambushed Sonya’s team. In order to save her team, Sonya had to compete in the tournament. Shang Tsung, however had her unit killed. After Shang Tsung was defeated by Liu Kang in the final battle, Sonya teamed up with Johnny Cage and Kano to fight off Goro on the bridge high above the pit.

During the battle, the island started to crumble and she and Kano were taken prisoner to Outworld by Shang Tsung to appease the Outworld emperor, Shao Kahn. Sonya was able to send a signal to Jax from Outworld and, during the events of Mortal Kombat II, he traveled there to find her.

Jax made contact with the other Earthrealm warriors and together they learned of Kahn’s scheme to invade Earth.

She was later freed by Jax who arrested Kano. As soon as they had passed through the portal to Earth, Kano escaped and fled back to Outworld.

Lara Croft is depicted as an athletic with brown eyes and reddish-brown hair, frequently kept in a plait or ponytail. The character’s classic costume is a turquoise tank top, light brown shorts, calf-high boots, and tall white socks.

Accessories include fingerless gloves, a backpack, a utility belt with holsters on either side, and two pistols. The video game sequels introduced new outfits designed for different environments, such as underwater and cold weather.

In the later games, Croft wears a crop top, camouflage pants and black or light brown shirts. When exploring, she often carries two pistols, but has used other weaponry throughout the series. She is fluent in several languages.

Lara’s backstory has changed dramatically over the course of the series. During the first era, game manuals describe the character as the Wimbledon, London-born daughter of Lord Henshingly Croft (Lord Richard Croft in Legend and its sequels). She was raised as an aristocrat and betrothed to the fictitious Earl of Farringdon.

Lara attended the Scottish boarding school Gordonstoun and a Swiss finishing school. At the age of twenty-one, she survived a plane crash, which left her stranded in the Himalayas for two weeks; the experience spurred her to shun her former life and seek other adventures around the world.

Croft published books and other written works based on her exploits as a mercenary, big-game hunter, and master thief.

Let’s start the fight!

The fight takes place in the Brazilian Amazon. The only rules are no guns and no raking the eyes. Lara Croft spots Sonya Blade hiding in the tree top. She pulls out her bow and arrow to shoot at Sonya Blade. Sonya using her military experience pulls a rope she was holding behind her back to trap Lara Croft in a net. Lara was caught off guard because the net was well camouflaged.

Sonya Blade jumps down from the tree then proceeds to kick Lara Croft repeatedly until Lara cuts herself free from the net. Sonya grabs Lara by the hair and throws her to the ground. Lara leg sweeps Sonya out of nowhere and Sonya lands hard.

Both ladies are struggling to get back to their feet. Lara finds a large tree branch then grabs it. She uses it to hit Sonya Blade in the back causing Sonya to fall to the ground again.

Lara pulls out her bow to hit Sonya in the face. She misses as Sonya moves out of the way. Sonya pulls out a taser to hit Lara but gets it knocked out of her hand. Lara connects with a spinning back kick to knock her out.
