Danielle Panabaker teased us on her Twitter Page

The fifth season of The Flash just recently began production, and it looks like one of the series’ stars is already celebrating.

Danielle Panabaker, who plays Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost on the hit The CW series, recently shared a photo from the show’s set.

Happy Tuesday from the set of ⁦@CW_TheFlash⁩ ! We’ll be back on your TVs in 3 months! #TheFlash pic.twitter.com/X21ivQcn49

— Danielle Panabaker (@dpanabaker) July 10, 2018

The Thinker is gone! What Next?!

We witness the death of Clifford DeVoe/The Thinker (Neil Sandilands) to the return of Ralph Dibny/Elongated Man (Hartley Sawyer). For Caitlin, a pretty interesting secret came to light, as she learned that she had gotten her metahuman powers long before the particle accelerator explosion, something that could change the nature of the Arrowverse as we know it.

Now we have Nora Allen (Jessica Parker Kennedy), Barry and Iris’ speedster daughter from the future.

“We always like to introduce characters and sort of highlight areas that come from the comics but we don’t want to be beholden exactly to them so we can change the stories as we see fit and tell it for a television show.” executive producer Todd Helbing told ComicBook.com after the Season 4 finale. “With [Nora], it’s the time that she comes from and what she did.

She makes this sort of big mistake at the end of the episode. Everyone is concerned of what she did. We all remember Flashpoint. Barry learned his lessons from time traveling. It’s going to be interesting to see Barry Allen help his daughter on this one.

The fifth season of The Flash will debut on Tuesday, October 9th, at 8/7c on The CW.

Will the fifth season of The Flash will better than Season 4? Let me know on Twitter and Instagram @BlueJayHJB and follow SEVnetwork on Instagram @sevnetwork

After making his debut on the scarlet speedster’s second season of the hit CW series as Wally West, fans have been counting the days leading down to actor Keiynan Lonsdale dawning his own Flash costume. Today, CW and DC Entertainment have unveiled a first look at the suited and booted Lonsdale as Kid Flash! The images can be viewed below.

Recently, it was learned that The Flash third season will be titled “Flashpoint,” based (in the plot’s inciting incident at least) on the staple DC Comics event sharing the same name. Flashpoint served as the penultimate comic run before DC’s New 52 launch back in 2011. The second season of The Flash shares common ground with the source material, in that it left us with a bereft Barry going back in time to do what he couldn’t before: save his mother from dying at the hands of The Reverse Flash.

The Flashpoint comic presented a dark, world-bending tale about the consequences of Allen’s choice, with fundamental changes to the DCU including Captain Cold being the hero of Central City, the Justice League not existing, Wonder Woman’s Amazonians and Aquaman’s Atlanteans being engaged in all out war, Bruce Wayne being the one who died in the alley and not his parents inspiring his father to become Batman (and his mother The Joker), and Superman being kept in an underground base for years after being found by the military; among others.

It is currently unknown which elements of the comic will be used in the much altered live-action series, but it can be expected that The Flash will follow a similar arc.

The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramo, Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells and Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West. Season 2 of the series also introduced Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West and the Earth-2 version of The Flash as played by John Wesley Shipp (who also played Barry’s father, Henry Allen).

The Flash season 3 premiere is already set to debut on The CW on Tuesday, October 4 at 8 PM ET. Until our favorite speedster returns, and as always, stay plugged in to SEV for more Comic Nook News as it develops.

The fine folks over at TV Line brings us word that Tom Felton, known to audiences the world over as Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, has joined the cast of CW’s hit series The Flash as a series regular. Felton will be playing the role of Julian Dorn, described as a fellow crime scene investigator with Barry at the CCPD who “suspects there’s more to Barry Allen than just his good guy reputation.”

It was recently learned that season 3 of the The Flash will be titled “Flashpoint,” confirming early rumors that the next season about the scarlet speedster will be based in part on the staple DC Comics event, which served as the penultimate comic run before DC’s New 52 launch back in 2011.
Agent Carter ran for two seasons but has not been renewed for a third. The series followed the secret exploits of Peggy Carter, Captain America’s love interest from the first film starring Chris Evans. Actress Hayley Atwell, reprised her role from the film, working along with other agents to keep America safe during the infancy of SHIELD.

Also not being picked up is Marvel’s Most Wanted. Starring Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood as the lead characters, Bobbi Morse and Lance Hunter respectively, Marvel’s Most Wanted was a promising series. The premise of the show entailed the two stars being on the run from numerous bounty hunters. Delroy Lindo was set to play Howard Chaykin’s character Dominic Fortune, the world adventurer, in this series as well. It is the second time Marvel’s Most Wanted was passed by ABC which, like Marvel Comics, is owned by parent company Disney. Adrianne Palicki was set to star as Wonder Woman a few years ago. NBC decided not to pick up the pilot although it was filmed.

NBC cancelled the highly anticipated Constantine who has been resurrected on the CW Network on Arrow and may be picked up as a series again on CW according to some sources. Reruns of Constantine can be seen on the El-Rey network. CBS has decided not to renew its contract with Supergirl, who is now flying over to the CW. You can look forward to several crossovers on that network now that Supergirl will be the fourth series on the CW starring DC characters.

Word from CBS is that Grant Gustin’s scarlet speedster will be racing over to join Melissa Benoist’s Supergirl in an upcoming crossover episode, scheduled to air on Monday, March 28. The Flash and Supergirl Executive Producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg had this to say about the two superheroes joining forces.

“We are so incredibly excited to announce something that we have dreamed of happening since we starting making Supergirl—The Flash and Supergirl are teaming up! “We want to thank Grant Gustin for making the time to come visit (on top of his already immense workload) and all of the folks at CBS, The CW, Warner Bros. and DC for working this out. And finally thanks to the fans and journalists who have kept asking for this to happen. It is our pleasure and hope to create an episode worthy of everyone’s enthusiasm and support.”

Speculation on whether or not the two superheroes would meet — in the same vane as Flash and Arrow — has been going on among fans since as early as the production days for Supergirl. The ‘Flarrow’ fandom (this writer included) are still left wondering as to the ‘how’ of such a meeting, what with the existence of Superman being well known in the world of Supergirl and the altogether absence (thus far) of the last son of Krypton, or any other alien races in The Flash or Arrow.

‘Worlds’ may be the key word in this pairing of speedster and kyrptonian, what with last night’s Flash episode, “Fast Lane”, ending with Barry Allen announcing that he and his friends at S.T.A.R Labs would soon venture into Earth-2, a parallel planet from which all manner of strangeness has been spilling over into Allen’s neighborhood. The introduction of the multiverse in the Arrow spin-off’s second season certainly makes Team Flash crossing paths with Supergirl and exploring an alternate timeline in which the Man of Steel exists a possibility.

Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist as the titular character aka Kara Danvers aka Kara Zor-El. Also starring is Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant, Chyler Leigh as Alexandra “Alex” Danvers, Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-El, Jeremy Jordan as Winslow “Winn” Schott, Peter Facinelli as Maxwell Lord, Jenna Dewan Tatum as Lucy Lane, David Harewood as Hank Henshaw, Dean Cain and Helen Slater.

Supergirl airs Mondays at 8 PM ET on CBS, while The Flash airs on Tuesdays at 8 PM ET on the CW.
