Let’s start at the beginning.

Yuri On Ice was my first, and by first I mean first sports anime (get your head out of the gutter). After finishing the first season, I immediately wanted more. But waiting months for the second season wasn’t going to fly. So I decided to pursue other sports related series that would fill the void in my aching otaku heart. So the hunt was on!

After literally 10 minutes of searching, I found them. From swimming to cheerleading, there is an anime for just about every sport. I’m at the point where I’m waiting for an anime about competitive trampolining.

But if you’re looking for a short Slice of Life anime like Yuri On Ice I would definitely recommend the series All Out! It’s a rugby anime that is absolutely full of intense game scenes, team bonding, hot characters as well as a few homo-erotic moments that Yuri on Ice is known for. All Out! definitely filled a large portion of the Yuri On Ice void. I would truly recommend watching while waiting for the second season of YOI.

I love seeing collaborative efforts from fashion creatives such as the hand sewn denim thigh high boots by Rox Brown and Trinity. Personal shopper and stylist to the fashion brand V Files’s very own Rox Brown flaunted the denim patch works designs to her 47k Instagram followers. These boots are really a  piece of art work. Even fashion influencer Kim Kardashian had to get her hands on a pair of the “Roxstar” boots. After saying “Go” to purchase the $700 boots quickly sold out and was available for pre-order on VFiles website. “Each boot is hand sewn by me using vintage denim making each pair unique”, says Trinity.

I couldn’t forget something for the fellas! Although we all may agree this next boot can be worn by both men and women. Atlanta rapper 21 Savage partnered with retailer Jimmy Jazz to release the Timberland 6-inch Denim Boot. The denim, acid- wash design are sold exclusively at Jimmy Jazz stores. Adult sizes will retail at $200 and children’s at $140. Atlanta customers also receive a free 21 Savage mixtape, Savage Mode with purchase of boot.
